Policies

Dress code

Ladies should wear a solid color leotard, tights, and ballet shoes, with hair in a ballet bun. No shorts or skirts, please.

Men should wear a close-fitting, solid color t-shirt, close-fitting shorts or tights, and ballet shoes.

All students must wear street clothes and appropriate outdoor footwear when arriving or leaving the building.

Late policy

Students should arrive 15 minutes early to prepare for class. Any student who is more than 10 minutes late or unprepared for class will be asked to observe class for safety reasons.

Severe weather policy

In the event of severe weather, staff will remain weather aware. If a "warning" is issued for the immediate area, students will proceed to a designated safe area within the building. No student will be permitted to leave the building during a warning without a parent's permission.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances which make holding classes inadvisable, we will notify students and parents via phone and email. Cancelled days will be rescheduled if at all possible.

Observation Policy

To ensure a focused learning environment, family and friends may not enter the classroom. Family and friends are invited to see the dancers' progress in an in-studio performance at the end of the week.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued under normal circumstances. A partial refund may be requested if a student withdraws due to medical reasons/injury before May 28, 2018.
